Storm Damage Unfortunately the recent gales have claimed another greenhouse. Commiserations to the Waverley Care plot holders. Some damage to another greenhouse and a shed blown over. It could have been worse. Let's hope that is the end of the storms for this winter.

Welcome to the Bridgend Allotment website.

The Bridgend Allotment is located in South Edinburgh and was opened in April 2006.

It is the first wholly organic allotment site in Scotland.

Health Project Officer Vacancy

With our two years Big Lottery Funding we are now able to advertise for a further Project Officer to work at Bridgend.Having consolidated the work at the project site we want to build on the outreach work already started.
